Title: Convergent map dynamics and harmlessness of delay in some delay differential equations
Abstract：We consider some reaction diffusion equations with a discrete time delay under various boundary conditions. By applying a dynamical system approach, we find that the map dynamics defined by nonlinear function in the R-D equation can sometimes fully determine the dynamics of the delayed R-D equation, in the sense that the map dynamics is convergent to a fixed point, then the corresponding R-D equation also claims a convergence-to-equilibrium dynamics, regardless of the magnitude of the delay (hence harmless delay).
